The 3D skills of Little Chicken are perhaps illustrated best in racing games. Over the years this has become a speciality working for large carmakers as Volkswagen and BMW. Little Chicken aims to combine a console game experience with the advantages of online distribution, making it attractive to the end consumer as well as the brand involved.
For BMW Netherlands, Little Chicken developed the BMW eDrive Challenge 2007. The unique characteristic of this game is the ‘track editor’. With the track editor the players can create their own tracks. The result is a racegame in a futuristic environment where the players can compete by taking advantage of the innovations of BMW. The BMW eDrive Challenge 2007 matches the campaign goal; creating awareness around the BMW 1 series and the innovative EfficientDynamics. A comparable project was undertaken for Volkswagen supporting the launch of the Volkswagen Tiguan in France with the Urban Jungle Driving Challenge. Both examples are included as cases below.
For the Shell le Mans weeks Little Chicken created the V-Power Race Game. Featuring the Audi R10, the winning car of the Le Mans race 2006, the player experiences the nighttime challenges
of the famous 24 hours race. The successful campaign has ran in several European countries in 2006/2007.
The 3D racing engine software has also been applied for non-automotive markets such as a speedskating game Gillette.
